Chinex® Brushes

The extra-stiff, DuPont™ Chinex® filaments easily pick up and release today’s heavy-bodied paints and provide optimal coverage. Before introducing these brushes, we had contractors use them in field tests. They raved about the “cleanability” of the Purdy brush, which features solid, round, tapered, 100% DuPont Chinex® filaments. Many liked the comfortable, flush-ferrule design, a Purdy exclusive. Like natural bristle, Chinex is self-flagging for optimal paint coverage. Yet, the filaments are stiff, so the brush holds its shape when applying today’s heavy-bodied paints.
